QUESTION:
What online colleges offer an associates degree as an ultrasound tech.? Also known as a medical sonographer...?
I am a single mother looking for an online college that offers you to get your associates in medical sonography, with the exceptions of doing clinicals at my local hospital. If anyone can please help me, it would be greatly appreciated. I have searched and searched over and over but cant seem to have any luck.-
ANSWER:
Your best option will be your local community college. They will offer most of the classes you are looking for on-line and they will be your most cost effective option. Also if they do require you to take some on campus classes most community colleges will have very low cost child care facilities located on campus. I work with a girl who did this a few years ago and she got a very good well paying job working in a hospital. She also said that they hired her over several other people with degrees from on-line schools because the doctors and nurses considered her more highly educated and qualified (community colleges are usually accredited by a legitimate college association that accredits 4 year institutions while most on-line schools are not). You should contact your community colleges right away and see what you need to do to enroll. You can also speak with an academic adviser. They will tell you exactly what classes you need and how you can sign up for on-line courses. I hope this helps good luck with school!

QUESTION:
Is there any colleges online for an associates degree for animal sciences?
I want to be a non-farm animal care taker or a zookeeper.-
ANSWER:
Be careful.
"College-blogger" has inexplicably recommended some truly worthless schools. For example, Penn Foster is not regionally accredited.

QUESTION:
What are some accredited online colleges that have associates degrees that are affordable?
Kind of like Western Governors College, but associates degree. WGU only offers Bachelors and Masters degrees. Every where I look its like over 20 grand for an associates degree which is ridiculous.-
ANSWER:
That is ridiculous.Check the community colleges in your home state. A lot of them offer associates degrees online now, and because they're your state's public colleges, they'll be your least expensive option.
For example, several of the SUNY ccs offer online degrees. You can find them by googling "SUNY online". Check the websites for your local ccs. If it's not clear if they offer online degrees, contact the school directly.

QUESTION:
Accredited Online Colleges - Associate's Degree?
I'm interested in starting back to school in the next six months. I'll likely be transitioning to a work-at-home situation with my current employer soon, and I'd like to multi-task with some online courses(light load to start, of course). I'm very good at that, and frankly I've tackled MUCH more intensive jobs than the one I'm doing now with great ease, so I'm not concerned about focus, etc.I'm interested in associates degrees in two fields:
-Programming: C++, some 3D design work, and (if possible) an emphasis on physics-based programming(I would love to program the way that objects interact with eachother in games, etc)
-or-(And yes, these are very different)
-SOMETHING that would be a step towards professional counseling, I would be interested in specializing in helping couples who live 'alternative' lifestyles, as I have a lot of friends who have made these choices in their lives, and I've been personally affected by some myself. A lot of them come to me for help and advice with these relationships, and I think it might be rewarding to try and help people with these things for a living.
I'll need to do all (or a very strong MOST) of this from home during the day. I don't mind if I occasionally have to go somewhere to take a test, etc; but it needs to be VERY infrequent, so that I can continue a full time job.
I'm not interested in University of Phoenix, ITT Tech, or any other trade schools. I'm interested in real, accredited colleges, that won't kill me on costs(I'm not made of money, and I've got rent, car payments, insurance, etc to take care of at the same time.)
Can someone suggest good paths to take for either of these degrees online? Again, no trade schools please!
-
ANSWER:
Firstly I want to mention that i admire the basis on which you selected counseling. I hardly hear of such decisions.
Anyways to the point. An Associate's Degree is never going to be enough in either fields. For counseling, you need atleast a masters. You can check out Capella University and University of West Alabama.
Talking about 3D design, regent university.
Hope that helps.

QUESTION:
Does any one know of a good online college for an associates degree in electrical engineering?
I need to know if there are any schools out there that offer online courses in electrical engineering that would be worth my time and money. I work 30+ hours a week, live with my girlfriend and my schedule changes weekly, so going to an actual school would be difficult. I live in the south-eastern part of MI.-
ANSWER:
Here are two options to start with:Penn Foster College
(AS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology)
http://www.pennfostercollege.edu/eleceng/Cleveland Institute of Electronics
(AAS degree in Electronic Engineering Technology Degree)
http://www.cie-wc.edu/Electronic-Engineering-Technology.aspIf you need to save time (or if you have prior electrical/electronics experience) then you can also look into download courses like Power Supply Repair (SMPS)

QUESTION:
Where can I get an on-line associates degree for healthcare?
I recently took on a vocational program to become a surgical technologist and when I start working I'm going to have little or no time to go back to the university. So I'm going to opt for studying online.I've looked all over and only found associates degrees in health administration which is not what I want to do.
I'm becoming a surgical tech to decide what branch of medicine or nursing I want to work in. But so far everything is about administration and the RN programs that are offered require an RN certification and an associates degree. I feel like I'm stuck! I left the university with only two semesters under my belt so I'm still technically a freshman. I need an associates degree and online college doesn't look that varied. Has anyone found an online associates degree program relating to healthcare?
-
ANSWER:
Try University of Phoenix Online or DeVry. I just recently graduated from UofP with in associates in Health Administration (they also have bachelor degree programs in health), but I transferred to DeVry and I am pursuing a bachelors in Technical Management with a concentration in Health Service Management (they also have other health care programs). The only reason I transferred is because DeVry is more well known amongst employers and their program is a little more accelerated than UofP's. Unfortunately health care degrees are limited online because anything a little more health care involved may require you to sit in an actual classroom.
Good example, I really want to be an RN and this is my long way of getting there until I can actually sit in a classroom environment. So check out those two sites and you may be able to find something that is not geared around health administration.

QUESTION:
can I finish an associates degree online and transfer to a 4 year college?
My local community college has online classes. And since I'm working from 7am to 5pm, going to school in the morning s not an option for me right now. My long term plan is to transfer to a 4 year school. I'm wondering if 4 year schools recognize online classes at community colleges? I tried finding the answer to my Q on the university's website but I couldn't find it.-
ANSWER:
It shouldn't be an issue..but it's hard to say yes or no since it depends on whichever school you're going to. Some have limits on how many you can take online that will transfer and so forth. Generally speaking though, you are able to at most schools. You could talk to a transfer advisor at the university to find out for sure. They should know and you don't have to be actually transferring now in order to ask them questions. Good luck.
(The section number on transcripts tells them whether it was online or not)

QUESTION:
What is the average amount paid for an associates degree obtained online?
I have a feeling the online college I want to attend is asking far too much for tuition. It seems like a wonderful school, but I'm not sure it's worth the amount. I need to know the average tuition fee for an online 16 month associates degree.-
ANSWER:
I think my classes are running about 0 per credit hour. My books and all software are included. Everything is updated. I am attending Virginia College Online.May I ask which one you plan on attending? The reason I ask is because I tried University of Phoenix and it was horrible!! They were over priced and I did not learn a thing. The courses were 5 weeks and then you have 1 week off. We did not even tough the books that were given to us. The classes were disorganized. I looked them up on the BBB and they had a lot of complaints.

QUESTION:
Can you get a associates degree in African American studies but take it online the course?
I am looking for an online college that lets you take african american studies or black studies and get an associates degree but online i am in iraq.-
ANSWER:
Most associate's degrees are vocational (computer science, mortuary science, etc.), but some are in "liberal studies," meaning study in the humanities. No associate's degree is specifically in African-American studies.I suggest you take a look at online courses offered through state universities. Many offer courses in African-American studies. If you are sufficiently committed, and take your other "General Education" courses online as well, you could eventually earn a bachelor's degree with a major in African-American studies.
I've placed some links below that will help you find state universities that offer online courses. Do a bit more research, and look for the one that offers the most online courses in African-American studies. Keep in mind that African-American studies courses often are offered by departments of English, History, American Studies, Ethnic Studies, Religious Studies, Sociology, and sometimes, but not often, even Psychology.
On a personal note, I'm pleased to hear of your interest in this field of study. I teach several courses in African-American studies myself. Not online, though.

QUESTION:
How much does it cost, exactly, to get a 2-year degree online?
I am looking to go back to college online for an Associates degree in business administration/human resources management. There are thousands of resources on the Internet and I am finding it daunting trying to figure out how MUCH each online program costs.I am hopeful someone reading this will know of a succinct resource that breaks this humongous list down by pricing.

ANSWER:
I am an in-state student at a technical school that offers associate's degrees. I am a full time student, and I pay about 5 per quarter, plus the cost of books. Books can range from under to upwards of 0 per quarter. Out-of-state students pay more for tuition. So basically I'm paying at least 00 per year, and if you go full-time for two years, then it's around ,000 plus the cost of the books for the courses.Hope that helps you!
Good luck!

QUESTION:
Is there an online college with accelerated courses geared toward an Associates Degree in Arts AND Sciences?
I want to be able to earn an Associates Degree in Arts AND Sciences online as quickly as my work schedule will allow. I work around 55-60 hours a week painting houses and apartment complexes, so i'm searching for an online college/university that has accelerated courses or work studies to make my studying habits & work pace acceptable...with out a huge amount of money being thrown out in the process. I don't like wasting my time so if there's an accelerated online college out there where I could work as fast or as much as I am able to in my free time, I'd love to get more information about it as soon as possible.-
ANSWER:
I would regard online universities as the absolute last resort for someone seeking higher education. The quality of education these programs offer is minimal - there is simply no substitute for the kind of dynamic interactions and discussions that commonly occur in face-to-face college courses. Also, the quality of educator is significantly less at online universities - the best faculty choose to teach at real colleges and universities. Both the pay and work environments are far superior to online universities. So, for great classes from great instructors, go to a real college or university.
Also, because of the minimal training they offer, employers and graduate institutions place little value in degrees earned from online programs. Many of these programs lack even basic accreditation for the degree programs they offer.
Bottom line - you will receive little if any personal or professional benefit from online universities relative to what you could have received from a real college or university.

QUESTION:
Will employers really hire someone with an associates degree from an online college, such as Penn Foster?
I've been looking for a college that offers the Veterinary Technician Program. The closest one that I've found is 1 hr and 30 min away from where I live. A friend told me about Penn Foster. Penn Foster offers the Veterinary Technician Program, but I'm not sure if employers will actually hire someone with an associates degree from an online college. Someone please let me know. P.S. If you know of any other colleges in the North GA area that offer the veterinary technician program, please let me know!!! Thanks.-
ANSWER:
Penn Foster is provisionally accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association. That means that your degree is as valid as everyone else's, Penn Foster just hasn't produced enough graduates yet to be fully accredited. Here is a list of the AVMA accredited vet tech programs in Georgia.
http://www.avma.org/education/cvea/vettech_programs/georgia.aspIf there is one closer, then that's always better than an on-line school because of the hands-on experience you get. Also, there are several other on-line programs accredited by the AVMA and they are fully accredited. Just click on "distance learning programs" on the left hand side of the site I gave above.
Also, for the most part, as long as you have passed the national and state board exams employers don't really care where you actually went to school.

QUESTION:
Do college credits from Kaplans associates teaching degree transfer to other colleges?
I am talking to a representative from Kaplan College and she told me that they have an online associates program for teaching but not a BA or BS, I was wondering if anyone had gone through this program doing teaching online and had to transfer the credits to another college? And what college took them? I want to do my whole education online so I want to be able to transfer the credits to an online school doing BA or BS in teaching. Any answers or help would be great!! Thank you!!-
ANSWER:
When someone evades your question like this, the answer in NO!!!And traching requires classroom time. You cannot become a good teacher only online.
Schools like University of Phoenix, ITT Tech, DeVry, Corinthian, Kaplan and others are "for profit" schools. Also known as “proprietary schools”. They tend to be very expensive, the qualifications of the instructors range from very good to awful and their credits are seldom transferable. In addition, most employers only consider candidates from these schools if there are no suitable applicants from a more traditional school.
These schools offer a lot of online programs and this is not to say that online programs are bad. They are not. Some are very good. Even the for profit schools can give you a reasonable education. There are many people who have graduated from these schools and started to make a good living. My objection is that the education they give you is incredibly expensive compared to traditional and non-profit schools, whether online or not. Overall experience is that grads from these schools take a fair bit longer to find jobs than grads from more traditional schools and they have a lot more debt.
Other on line schools like UCLA Extension or Athabasca University in Canada are fully accredited and seen to be excellent ways to get an education. Basically, what you want is the online division of a traditional accredited university to get an online degree that counts for something.
As for going to the classroom courses offered by these for profit schools, even the claimed to be bachelors level courses the for profit schools offer are considered at best by employers to be on par with what you get from a community college. But often they are nowhere close. However, a community college will be far cheaper and community college credits are transferable to a 4 year university in most cases. Credits from the for profit schools seldom will transfer anywhere. The for profit schools even mention this in their TV ads, at least here in California.
That is, few other schools will accept credits from them. However, it appears that Point Park University in Pittsburgh may accept some credits from proprietary schools. See http://www.pointpark.edu/, http://www.pointpark.edu/Admissions/TransferStudents/TransferPolicy and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Point_Park_University
Have a look at this link: http://www.time.com/time/business/article/0,8599,2000160,00.html?artId=2000160?contType=article?chn=bizTech
Basically it says these schools are just student loan mills where they get you to sign for big student loans and then they do the minimum possible so you get an education. Just enough so you keep coming. Whether you get a job or default on the loan afterward is irrelevant to them.
I have heard many stories from people who have gone to these for profit schools who have been left with a bigger debt than many graduates from a traditional 4 year university while still not being able to get a job. I personally know a part time instructor for one of these schools and he had to quit after two semesters as he could not keep his mouth shut any longer about how expensive it was compared to a community college.
So if you want an online school make sure it is the extension department of a “bricks and mortar” school. And before you sign, call the registrar’s office of your state university whether they will accept the credits for transfer. If the state university will not accept the credits, run away from signing with one of these “for profit” schools.

QUESTION:
What are things to look for in online colleges?
I would really like to get my associates degree online, and continue to my bachelors at another campus. This is required at a few of my local campuses as I have my GED. I don't mind this, actually I prefer it, but what are some things I need to look for to make sure I'm going through a good, credited school. I haven't decided what I want to do yet, which is the reason I'm about to turn 20 and haven't started yet. But I have to this year.
Thanks!-
ANSWER:
My best recommendation would be to contact a number of colleges to find the best fit for you and your needs (tuition, schedule, career opportunities, etc.). Too often people enroll in the first school they find rather than taking the time to find the best school for them. Taking that time now could save you a lot of time, money and frustration if you choose the wrong school.
This site has some good info on regionally accredited online degrees and some colleges that offer them to help expand your search:

Welcome to Academia...!I recommend that you check out Coastline Community College. They have wonderful academic counselors who will walk you through the process and you can work on an A.A. degree of your choosing. They are fully accredited and available for degree seeking on-line courses. You can transfer your credits to any other school e.g., Ivy League, if you choose to further your education. BTW, they are the preferred school for the military who can not take classes on campus. I prefer on-line courses because they are a convenient way to learn. QUESTION:
ONLINE Associates Degree, is it any good????
I am not ready for a 4 year college and I also want to get past the 2 year community college ordeal. I know online bachelors degrees are pretty iffy- a friend I know at her job after GWU told me they basically just ignore resumes with online bachelors degrees- but if get an online associates and plan to get a bachelors NOT online will I have any problems?? Does that go smoothly or will some universitys not accept me with an online associates?? Should I just suck it up and go to community college?? Any info would be great!-
ANSWER:
If you do an online associate degree, it must be from a fully accredited college in order for your credits to be accepted by a four-year college. Some online schools say they are accredited but the accrediting association is actually a sham. A college needs to be accredited by a regional accrediting body. This site has links to the regional accrediting associations:
http://distancelearn.about.com/od/accreditationinfo/a/regional.htmI was a college administrator for 28 years before I retired and it is my opinion that you will get much more benefit from actually attending college rather than getting a degree online. However, if your online college is accredited by one of the six regional accrediting associations, your credits will be accepted by a four-year college provided you take courses that are applicable to the degree and major you pursue.

I just started online College to get my Associates degree in Medical Assisting. It will take 2 years. I was just wondering if anyone knew the difference in earning potential for a person with an Associates degree versus a certificate.-
ANSWER:
Stormy, it's best to go to a regular school as opposed to an online on. Many so called on-line MA courses are scams. Here in Chicago, MA's make anywhere from -16 an hour with or without an Associates --
Of course other states may vary in pay. Some states pay you LESS as a medical assistant, so MA's here in the windy city consider themselves lucky to be making what they do.
Good luck and best wishes in your career

QUESTION:
is there any way to gen an associates degree online?
i want to become an RN, but i know i have to have a masters degree, can't go back to school , i have a newborn baby, i went to college right after H.S. but to one of those for only 9 month i graduated as a medical assistant. (not very happy with that), so what's the best way to do it? will i get any credtit for those 9 months?
oh and what classes to i need to take to get accepted in R.N pogram?-
ANSWER:
What you have sounds like a "certificate", which is usually a one year program. If it is properly accredited, you could transfer those into an associates program just about anywhere. Each RN program will be different, best bet is to go to the one you are interested in and back track what you will need in an associates degree to start.

Is it harder to get a job with an online degree?
If I have an associates degree in applied science healthcare-Billing and coding specialist that I got while attending herzing college online. Will it be harder to get a job? The technical school gave the technical diplomas for medical coding but not billing, no internship, and was also an online class. I wanted the knowledge of the billing and the internship. I did get a internship from herzing college online, but when I get my degree will I be able to get a job having an online degree.-
ANSWER:
It's not as hard as it used to be. For example, University of Phoenix and City University are starting to be more excepted by recruiters. They're still not as excepted as a traditional school, but people do recognize that this is a changing world and not everyone can attend a traditional school and these are great alternatives, because the teachers come from the real world so you're getting a great education.Good luck.

QUESTION:
anyone every really receive a bachelors degree or masters from a strictly online college?
i can see getting a associate degree online but a bachelors or masters seems a bit to unreal to me especially for the little money it costs if anyone has received their degree let me know and let me know where from.-
ANSWER:
I have taken (and taught) tons of classes and there are full online universities and regular 4-year universities that do offer this option for purposes of flexibility. This depends on the program you are applying to.PS: I'd be cautious of any program that tells you you can do a 4-year degree in less than two years.

QUESTION:
I am looking for a fully Online College for an Associates of Arts degree?
I have several credits and have recently started back up taking classes at the local community college...here is the problem - being a stay at home mom I can only attend during school hours/no sick kiddo at home (and part time job in Tax season)...I have taken a few online classes through the community college but they require tests to be taken at the testing facility...aging trying to schedule around family and unknowns is difficult. So I was thinking about finding a fully online course or correspondence course to finish out my degree..........What do you all recommend? Which colleges are the best?
Thanks and blessings for the help =)
-
ANSWER:
Most legitimate fully online colleges require students to go to a local location to take supervised exams, so you really cannot get out of the inconvenience of going to a testing facility. Take as much work as you can at your community college which is certainly much less expensive than any other school. Try to arrange for child care so you can take the exams. Perhaps take a lighter class load during the part of the year that includes tax season.Best wishes.

QUESTION:
Would getting a degree online affect my chances of getting into a four year College?
I am planing on attending Northern VA community college for an Associates degree in IT but I would start out on campus then finish the rest of the degree online because I am gonna be in India for a while. How do online classes work? Are they hard?
-
ANSWER:
In my experience, online classes are much worse than lecture classes. Most professors justify giving mountains of work and stringent grading criteria because the class is taken from the "convenience" of home. You might find that online classes will be more time consuming and difficult than a traditional class.Furthermore, you will not have lectures in which the professor highlights important information that will likely be on the test. So when you study for a test, you are going to have to study everything equally, even the less important things, because you never know what will be on there.
However, I am of the opinion that it makes perfect sense to at least partially do IT degrees online. And online classes in general should be treated with more respect than they have been. They demonstrate independent work ethic at its finest.

QUESTION:
Anyone have first-hand Online College/Degree experience? Anyone ever hear of Empire State College?
I have an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and currently work in sales. I would like to go back to school and earn a Bachelor's and maybe move onto something higher after that. I took a couple of years off from school after some personal issues that I went through and I'm ready to move on in my life. I'm a little all over the place in my interests - I'm considering Journalism, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Teaching English as a Second Language, Education, stuff like this. I know I sound all over the place but I'm going to choose something and go for a Bachelor's so that I can improve my marketability and skills.Money and time are issues for me. I am considering an online degree but the "reputable" ones are pricey. By reputable I mean most advertised, well-known. Asking around, a co-worker told me he was taking courses at ESC - Empire State College which says it is a SUNY school. Sounds good to me since SUNY has pretty good standards in my eyes with the most affordability.
My specific questions are:
1) Anyone have any personal opinions/experience on this particular college?
2) Will getting an online degree be valued appropriately by an employer?
3) Will I have trouble transferring this degree to another school if I were to continue my education either in NY or elsewhere?
4) Do you have reputable, accredited (and affordable) online college recommendations?-
ANSWER:
I do not know much about ESC. But what i can tell you is that acquiring an online degree would definately be valued by employers. The recognition for online learning has improved and at the present time employer's consider online degrees on the same footing as traditional school based degrees. Online education credits are transferable so you need not worry about transfering your degree if you go for higher education. An entire list of accredited and affordable online colleges and universities is available at http://www.onlineedublog.com/ so all you need to do is go through their reviews and decide where you wanna study

QUESTION:
if i already have an associates degree how long would it take me to get my bachelor's online?
the area in which im pursuing a bachelor's degree in is respiratory therapy.and could someone plz giv me a link to go to for a good online college to get my bachelor's degree.-
ANSWER:
Hi. It would take you approximately another 2 years to get a bachelors degree. It could ofcourse take you 3, 4, or 5 more years should you not submit assignments on time. Online colleges offer you the freedom to choose your time and duration of a class. A lot of people take this for granted and end up with a low quality degree. Make sure you have the will power to resist the temptation of procrastinating assignments.
Also make sure you do plenty of research before you enroll into any college. Make sure the college you choose is accredited. Also check out their faculty. Ask other students for their opinion on the college.
Be sure that you are not enrolling into a diploma mill. You will be wasting your time and money. Diploma mills offer easy course content and charge low fees.
Here is website that suggests accredited online colleges according to the area of specialization. http://onlinedegreetalk.orgKevin

QUESTION:
I'm not sure what online associates degree I should get?
I'm a single mom interested in receiving an associates degree online preferably from the University of Phoenix. I'm not sure what I want to do though. I definitely don't want to do nursing because I can't stomach that kind of thing. I like music, photography and all that stuff but they don't offer anything like that. I definitely don't want to be a teacher. I have been trying to decide what I have wanted to do since I graduated high school in '09. I'm only wanting to get into the University of Phoenix until I have lived in South Carolina long enough to go to an actual college. I was thinking something with business or is there anything I can take just for general studies? Someone help me out here. If you want to just discuss this with me just email me at rad_rocker101@yahoo.com thanks.-
ANSWER:
Here is one website http://www.thedegreeexperts.com/uv-university-of-phoenix-6.aspx where you can get information about various courses being offered at UoP and you can choose the one you find suitable. For any further info you can contact the university authority directly through this website through their “Request Info” form and they would respond you quickly.

QUESTION:
Can you get a degree online in a year without having another degree first?
I see these ads to earn your degree in a year but when you go to them it is for a bachelor's or a master's or something that you already have to have at least an associates for. Is there some online college or a school with an online program where I can get an associate's degree in a year? I'm just tired of trying to cut through bs.-
ANSWER:
There is a way to get a regionally accredited associates degree in liberal arts in a year, but it will be a lot of work. From there, you will be able to enroll in a regionally accredited online bachelors program from a state school.Go to one of the following three schools and get their catalog and degree requirements for an AA degree in liberal arts.
Excelsior College - www.excelsior.edu
Charter Oak State College - www.cosc.edu
Thomas Edison State College - www.tesc.eduThen go to http://www.collegeboard.com and look for CLEP tests. Get information on all of the different CLEP tests and try and match as many as you can to the degree requirements. Also, go to http://www.getcollegecredit.com and try and match DSST tests to other degree requirements.
Once you have an idea of what tests you will need to take, go to Amazon.com and order study guides. Also, go to http://www.instantcertonline.com and sign up for the online study materials. You can ask questions at the forum for instantcert at http://www.instantcertonline.com/forums/ The forums are free, you don't have to subscribe to the study materials site, if you don't want to.
There may be some courses that you will not be able to meet using CLEPs and DSSTs. Fill the rest with independent study courses at LSU. http://is.lsu.edu
Good luck

QUESTION:
Which online college is best for having a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Development?
I want to keep on going to school online. I have an associate degree in Early Childhood Development but I don't know where to go next. I work 50 hours a week so my only option is online but the degree should be accepted in NYC. Help!-
ANSWER:
It is difficult to say what online college is the best just as it is difficult to say what campus based college is the best. There are simply too many factors that need to be considered. What is more inportant is finding the best college for you.
My recommendation would be to contact a number of colleges that offer the degree program you are looking for to weigh the pro's and con's (tuition, schedule, career opportunities, etc.) so you have all the info before you decide anything. This site has some good information on regionally accredited online degree programs and colleges that offer them:

Does anyone have any suggestion on an online college that I can complete my Associate Degree?I already have 70% of the credits that I need. I am looking for something flexible and will does not cost too much.
-
ANSWER:
Honestly, the best online college for you to get an associate's degree is a community college in your city or state. Most community colleges offer 100% online classes, so you can take classes online and get your associate's degree.Plus, since the community college is in your state, you pay in-state tuition, which is very inexpensive at community colleges.
